The Yemen Foundation against Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia, represented by its Director, Amal Saif, launched several visits to neurologists’ clinics in the capital Sana’a. The 2024 calendar was distributed to doctors and families who frequent these clinics with their patients. The doctors were introduced to the Foundation and its active role in spreading awareness about Alzheimer’s disease (memory loss disease), ways of prevention and how to give specialized care to people living with Alzheimer’s disease.

In addition to spreading awareness, the goal of this calendar is to target caregivers of these patients, provide them with information and offer them the services provided by the Foundation, such as training and consultations to enable them to provide specialised care for their patients at home and also help them take care of themselves and manage the stress effectively to avoid reaching the stage of burnout.   

The calendar entails awareness messages about the prevention of the disease. The printing of the calendars was sponsored by NATCO Pharma.
